This Saturday, July 22nd 2007 Animal Planet will show an exclusive
documentary on the endangered Borneo Pygmy Elephants and the
efforts of the WWF to save these mini-pachyderms. These elephants
were isolated about 300,000 years ago from their cousins on
mainland Asia. During that period, they became smaller with larger
ears and longer tails.
Israeli Vice Premier Haim Ramon has stated that the issue of
Jerusalem will be discussed at the international peace conference
to be held in late November.
